During <strong>2023<\/strong> The Union of Screenwriters and Writers of Performing Works in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Kroatien is announcing a competition for participation in the program for the development of dramatic texts. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the competition, <strong>three authors<\/strong> will be selected who, during the duration of the program, which will be held <strong>both live and online,<\/strong> will<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have the opportunity to develop their new or existing drama under the mentorship of prominent Croatian playwright <strong>Ivor Martini\u0107<\/strong> .<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and at the intensive workshop with playwrights <strong>Ivana Vukovi\u0107 and Lucia Klari\u0107,<\/strong> participants of the first edition of the New Stages project. Participation in the program is rewarded with a scholarship in the total amount of <strong>1100 euros gross<\/strong> . At the end of the program, the selected authors will submit the first version of the dramatic text, and the final versions of the texts, which they will have the opportunity to work on after the end of the program, will be <strong>published in the magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/hciti.hr\/casopis-kazaliste\/\">Kazali\u0161te<\/a><\/strong> in cooperation with <strong>Croatian ITI center.<\/strong>  As part of the project, a round table will be organized  <strong>&#8220;How much does one dramatic text cost?&#8221;<\/strong>.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Activities in <strong>the second phase<\/strong> of the project during <strong>2024<\/strong> . include <strong>staged readings<\/strong> of completed dramatic texts in cooperation with <strong>KunstTeatra<\/strong> . The readings will be open to the public. He graduated in dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. Since 2005 works as a dramaturg on productions at the Dubrava Children&#8217;s Theatre, Mala Scena Theatre, ITD Theater, ZKM-U, and at Eurokaz and Rijeka Summer Nights. He often collaborates with Croatian Radio, in whose drama program almost all of his plays are performed. He writes plays, radio dramas and screenplays. For the drama Here is the title of the drama about Anti, it won the Fabrique et Croatie award of the REZ society and the Mali Maruli\u0107 award at the Croatian Children&#8217;s Drama Festival. The drama was premiered at the City Youth Theater in Split, directed by Ivica \u0160imi\u0107, in May 2009. years. The same drama was staged in London, Brussels and Belgrade. The drama about Mirjana and those around her was premiered at the Yugoslav Drama Theater in February 2010. years. His drama It&#8217;s good while we die in order was premiered in 2019. directed by Aleksandar \u0160vabi\u0107 and produced by the Zagreb Youth Theater. In the same year, the drama It would be a shame if the plants grew was premiered in the co-production of Teatrum, T25 and KunstTeatr. His plays have been translated into twenty languages \u200b\u200band he is the winner of a number of awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ivana Vukovi\u0107,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> MA in dramaturgy and graduate student in comparative literature, was born in 1992. in Split. She writes for theater, film and television, collaborates as an author and dramaturg on film and theater projects. He works on the productions of KunstTeatr, Kufer, ZKM, Monta\u017estroj, HNK Split, KMD Dubrovnik, GKL Split, PlayDrama. In 2019 she was awarded the Third Prize &#8220;Marin Dr\u017ei\u0107&#8221; for the text &#8220;55 Squares&#8221;. He received the Mali Maruli\u0107 2020 award for the dramatization of the novel &#8220;Lie, Melita&#8221;. year, and in 2021. for &#8220;Mi\u0161a u to\u0107u&#8221; the Mira Muhoberac award for the original dramatic text. The plays on which she worked as a dramaturg and as the author of the text were shown at festivals such as MOT, BITEF, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and were awarded at the festivals Days of Satire, Naj, naj festival, Mali Maruli\u0107, and the Croatian Theater Award. Her dramas were also performed as radio dramas in the drama program of the Croatian Radio. Proud member of SPID.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><b>Lucija Klari\u0107<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> graduated with an MA study in dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In addition to his studies, he also attended two Erasmus internships in the UK, where he worked at the Royal Exchange, Manchester and the Bush Theater, London. As a playwright, her plays are read at ADU, as part of the Day of the Youth Branch of HDDU and the &#8220;6 actresses looking for authors&#8221; initiative. For the text &#8220;The Road to Oblivion&#8221; in 2015. receives special recognition from the jury for the &#8220;Marin Dr\u017ei\u0107&#8221; award. She is a resident of the Odyssey program in 2021 and for &#8220;Elida&#8217;s galactic journey&#8221; which she develops in La Chartreuse, Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, she receives the 1st prize &#8220;Little Maruli\u0107&#8221;. He writes scripts for children&#8217;s series: &#8220;Misi Mesi&#8221;, which is being developed with the help of HAVC support for a TV script (2017), and &#8220;Slonko&#8221;, produced by HRT (2020).
