Plants are coming back to Kunst!

In the KunstTeatar on the 6th and 11. April brings back the play It would be a shame if the plants grow, in which the actors Maja Posavec and Pavle Vrkljan and the author of the text Ivor Martinić meet together on stage.

This play has not stopped delighting the audience since its premiere in 2019. year, and every encounter with the audience is unique and different due to the open structure of the performance.

Critic Nina Ožegović wrote about the play: “Martinić creates a play with an open structure, the different editions of which depend on the current mood (and numerous other factors) of the author himself, but also of the actors, which gives it a documentary and liveliness.”

Maja Posavec, Pavle Vrkljan and Ivor Martinić thus lead the audience through a story about the end of a love, and at the same time they also tell a love story about the theater itself.

The text received numerous new versions in a relatively short time. The author himself directed the Spanish version of the play, in which there are three different versions of the story, and the Serbian version, in two variants, which is shown in an interesting space of a civic apartment, produced by Heartefakt. The text premiered in two different productions in Argentina and Uruguay, and new premieres are planned for this year in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, the Netherlands and Spain, this time in the Basque language.

The play was co-produced by T25 and KunstTeatr.
